Rooted for Life's mission aims to shine a light on the realities that children and youth in the foster care system face and to educate our communities about the challenges they experience. We seek to raise awareness about the impact of entering foster care, navigating new placements, experiencing instability, and ultimately aging out of the system without the lifelong support many young people rely on. Through education, community outreach, and meaningful conversations, we aim to help communities better understand the needs of children in foster care and inspire individuals and organizations to become part of the solution. By bringing these issues out of the shadows, we strive to create greater compassion, stronger support systems, and a community committed to ensuring every child and young adult impacted by foster care has the opportunity to feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered.
